Shipping, Returns and Refunds

  • Dirk's Online is currently only delivering to areas within a 5km radius of Dirk's Davenport Square, 89 Helen Joseph Road, Glenwood, Durban, 4001.
  • Delivery days are on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Online orders are not delivered on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays.
  • Delivery fee is R50 for orders under R1000. Orders R1000 and more qualify for free delivery to certain areas specified by Dirk’s Meat Market. 
  • Orders may be placed online and picked up at the Dirk's Davenport Store. Delivery and handling fees are not applicable to in-store collection.
  • We are under no obligation to deliver to areas not specified above. 
  • Additional fees may apply for deliveries to areas not listed above.
  • Should you receive an order that is damaged, soiled, incorrect or incomplete please contact us immediately so we can rectify the situation. 
  • Once your order is placed we will deliver your order the next business day (Monday to Friday).
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that someone is available to sign and collect the delivery. We will make every reasonable effort to deliver your order to you.
  • We reserve the right to charge an additional delivery fee if the customer is unavailable at the time of delivery and new delivery is required. 
  • We cannot guarantee that there will be no delays when delivering your order. 
  • Should nobody be available to sign and collect delivery it will be sent back to our retail branch at Dirk’s Davenport (38 Davenport Square, Glenwood, Durban). Your order will be frozen to maintain freshness. You can collect the order from Dirk’s Davenport or delivery can be arranged on the next available date. 
  • We cannot commit to a delivery time and will not be held accountable for late deliveries.
  • No refunds, exchanges or returns will be permitted on meat if delivery the customer is unavailable to receive the order at the time of delivery.
  • Refunds or returns will be at the discretion of Dirk’s Meat Market. Should you be unhappy with your order please contact us as soon as possible at orders@dirks.co.za or call us on 031 201 3360/7125. 
  • Refunds will be made via the same payment method the order was made. Please note that Refunds could take a few days to reflect in your bank account. 
  • We will not refund in cash.
  • Once payment has been made, and the order is final, no refunds or returns will be accepted unless agreed upon by Dirk’s Meat Market. 
  • Please expect delivery delays during peak or busy periods.
